Taking Stock January

madewithOver-2

A large part of why I love Leonie D’s wonderful 2015 Workbook is the opportunity and encouragement it provides to sit down and look back on where you’ve been, what goals you’ve achieved and generally where you’re up to in the scheme of things.  I’m late to this party but a very enthusiastic participant nonetheless, because I am one of those people who doesn’t ever know where the time goes.

As part of that, I’m going to bring this intention here to my blog as well, but taking on the lovely Pip Lincolne’s Taking Stock at the end of each month.  I have done it before sporadically, but I’d like to aim for a monthly stop and look around to keep track of time in my own special little way, instead of watching the year whoosh by helplessly as I feel like I’ve been known to do previously.

life can be nicer for a friend who has many challenges within her beautiful family
Marvelling: at all the things I’ve gotten done this month already
Needing: to be at least as organised next month as I have been this month

About Alyson

I am a 45+ chick. I live in the country with 3 almost (apparently) adult children teenagers, 1 husband and many animals. Here's the thing: The black dog also hangs with me occasionally and, thank the baby cheeses, life is not perfect. That's OK, because I work hard to be a glass half-full person and I can't lie! I write to help my head, heart and humor...and I tell myself 'I've got this!'
